    Fine Meiji Japanese rosewood silver bamboo inlaid case.

    : Japan.
    Age
    : Meiji Period (C.1868 - 1912).
    Size:
    The box measures 14cm wide x 10cm long x 4cm high. The plate measures 17.5cm wide x 14cm long.
    Artist/signature
    : Signed to the lower edge of the lid. Jungin Silver marks to the foot rims.
    Condition
    : The pieces are all in excellent condition.
    Comments
    : A fine Japanese rosewood and silver lidded box and underplate, dating from the Meiji period. The box is crafted from solid silver, with a hand etched scene to the lid. The lining of the box and lid has then been fitted with rosewood timber lining. The matching under plate is also crafted from rosewood with solid silver detailing.
