Q:
Do these wraps have to be stretched on a bowl? Could they be used to wrap up produce, like half an onion? Also what is the max temperature they can be at?

They are not limited to use on bowls. You can use them for anything you would normally use plastic wrap for, so yes, you can cover produce with them.
