    This is an early salt glaze stoneware squatty porter beer or mineral water bottle that we dug from an 1830s privy pit in New Orleans.....no embossing....Hand thrown on potters wheel....grey salt glaze....blob top....only 6 1/2"tall...slight tapered shape....Excellent condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with only a couple small rust spots.
